Stunning custom pet portraits will honor your favorite family member for years to come.

Archival high quality acrylics are used on stretched canvas. Acrylics dry faster than oils allowing your portrait to arrive home faster. They are also more flexible than oil paint, and contain the same high quality pigments so will stand up to the wear and tear that an oil painting might not. As a bonus, they are less toxic to use around my own fur baby.

I used techniques passed down from the Renaissance to ensure a high level of detail and accuracy.

Pets are such an important part of our families. They are our comrades, our best friends and our most devout supporters. It's so hard when we loose them, the feeling that we have nothing concrete to hold onto in those moments of grief. Honoring your pet in an official painted portrait not only helps you to feel more grounded, but the knowledge that you are able to give your pet life the biggest honor my commemorating them in a painting fit for a king or queen, that will stand the test of time, can bring such feelings of relief.

* You can add all the pets that you wish in one single portrait. (You can send us separated photos and we´ll put them together in one portrait) however there is a charge for added pets. I do paint literally every hair on their body and it is incredibly fun and very time consuming.

HOW TO ORDER?

1. 🐶 add your portrait after choosing the size you would like t your checkout.

2. If you have additional pets, add those pets to your check out.

3. I can also include a background, however again there is an extra charge. If there is no background I will paint the back a gradient color that best suits the colors in the painting.

4. send me images of your pet in a message by clicking the contact Etsy seller button or by sending it to my E-mail: willowofraincity [!at] gmail.com

5. I will send you a digital draft version of any composition changes I make. When you are happy with the reference proof I will use that as a reference to paint from.

6. I will send you regular updates of the progress. I often film sections so I can also send you little snippets of the process :) If you prefer to keep it a complete surprise please let me know in advance.
